Refund and Return Policy
REFUND & RETURN POLICY:
1.Students must present their current cash register receipt with the correct dollar amount of the merchandise during the stated refund period. No refund will be given without the original receipt. Students have 5 working days (summer and short term classes may be different) from the date on the receipt to return textbooks and 30 days for non-textbook items.
2.All sales are final on scantrons, tradebooks/novels, study aides and various electronics and software (if opened).
3.A full refund is given when a class has been cancelled by the College and textbook(s) are in the same conditions as initially bought. In all other cases, there is a 10% handling/restocking charge.
4.Refunds will be issued in the same manner as paid (if paid with a credit/debit card – refund will be made back to credit/debit card)
5.Textbook condition: New textbooks must be in new condition. It must be clean, free of all marks and erasures. Soiled, creased or marked books will be considered a “used” book and may be refunded at the used price. wrapped, loose-leaf textbooks, e-books, books with exposed or open access codes or boxed merchandise are non-refundable once opened. Used textbooks are sold “as is.” Because these books have been used by other customers prior to sale, the Bookstore cannot guarantee the life expectancy of any used books. Used textbooks must be returned in salablecondition. Any books damaged by liquids arenot returnable.
6.Access codes are non-returnable if opened or if codes are exposed.
7.No refunds on textbooks will be given during the last four weeks of instruction of any term.
8.In all cases bookstore reserves the right to make the decision on the condition or salability of the merchandise.
