Ready Set Go

Buy Textbooks

See the books you need by visiting the Online Bookstore. All books can be purchased or rented from the Bookstore which is located across from the Cafeteria. For more information, call the bookstore at 559-442-8261.

Buy Supplies

Your teacher may email you ahead of time and provide a list of required materials. It is a good idea to always have the basics ready:

  • Notebook or paper
  • Pens and pencils
  • USB flash drive (thumb drive)

Add class start Date and Time to your phone

Add a reminder or a calendar event so you don't forget. Be sure to arrive at least 1 hour early to ensure getting to class on time.

Find you class Locations

Print out a copy of the campus map and locate your classes ahead of time. WebAdvisor becomes really slow on the first few days due to high usage. So don't depend on being able to log on to find out what room you are in.

Buy a Parking Permit

Parking is challenging. Be sure to have your permit before school begins. Permits can be purchased at the Bookstore or at the Business Office.

During the first two weeks, plan to arrive at least an hour before class starts. Otherwise, you may not be able to park in time. If you are late to class, you will be dropped from the course.

Fresno City College is open to all students over the age of 18. If you are still in High School as a junior or senior, you may apply if you have permission from your parents, high school counselor, and high school principal.

Fresno City College is a part of the State Center Community College District.
