Get a jump Start on College!

Program Highlights:graduating girl

  • Earn college credits early!
  • Enroll in an English or math and counseling class in the summer.
  • Learn strategies to become more successful in college.
  • Benefit from an assigned academic counselor.
  • Participate in free guided study sessions.
  • Have fun and make new friends.


  • Graduating high school senior
  • English levels 252, 262, 125, 126, or 1A
  • Math levels 201 or 103


Applications accepted at Registration-to-Go sessions at high schools and online

Focused Student learning


The Fresno City College Summer Bridge Program is an academic program designed to increase your college success by providing a jump start to your college education! Classes are linked to promote learning in a supportive environment.

The program also includes enrichment activities and university field trips for the purpose of social engagement and campus involvement. Develop skills for life that will help you be successful in college! 

We want your transition from a high school student to a Fresno City College RAM to be successful!




Application Process: 

  1. Fill out application at Registration-to-Go (RTG) session.
  2. Check your FCC email for confirmation of your application and for additional information.
  3. Fill out your Financial Aid FAFSA for 2016-2017 and 2017-2018.
  4. Register for your fall semester classes.
  5. Attend the orientation on (Tuesday) May 9, 2017 or (Wednesday) May 10, 2017 to secure your spot in the summer Bridge program.
  6. Attend the Summer Bridge kick off event.
  7. Attend your Summer Bridge classes that start on June 19, 2017.
