Movie Screening \ Black N Black

Black N Black is a full-length documentary, by Director Zadi Zokou and highlights the relationship between African immigrants and African America communities in the US. How do these communities interact and connect? How do they see each other? How are they getting along?
To answer these questions, the director traveled across the world to document individuals’ and scholars’ points of view about the issue. Through a series of interviews, Zokou’s work presents various point of views about the relationship between African immigrants and African Americans communities. His work is a fair contribution to the ongoing conversation about cultural identities, especially within the field of ethnic studies.
His work was acclaimed in Colleges and Universities on the East coast and was invited to Fresno State by the AFRICANA studies department in May 2023.
