Dispatcher Training

Purpose

The POST Basic Dispatcher Course is a 120 hour minimum training course for dispatchers working in a public safety environment.

Application Process

The POST Basic Dispatcher Course is required within one year of the date of hire for dispatchers working in a POST certified public safety communication center. Department schedule employees for this course.
