We are looking for students that show Passion for working in partnership with communities to make positive change, Openness to work in different areas and adapt to changing circumstances, A growth mindset and eagerness to try new things, Dedication to successfully completing 450 hours of service during the 2025-2026 academic school year.
College Corps Fellows will gain:
- Up to $7,000 Living Stipend (distributed monthly from September- April) ~ $777 monthly
- $3,000 Education Award (upon completion of 450 hours of service) used towards tuition, future loans, and/or graduate school
- Academic credit (if applicable)
- Internship credit (if applicable)
- Access to training, networking, and professional development opportunities

Connections with Fellows across the state via a virtual community platform and regional events
Eligibility for the program is as follows:

General Eligibility:
- Full-time, enrolled undergraduate students
- Must have completed FAFSA or CADAA for the upcoming year
- Has high school diploma or equivalent by start of program
- Must be and remain in good academic standing
- Ability to commit to the program for the full academic year

Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, or AB-540 CA Dream Act students

Financial Eligibility:
- Qualifies for Federal Pell Grant OR State Cal Grant OR Middle-Class Scholarship

LAEP connects students to paid work experiences related to their area of study, career objective, or the exploration of career objectives. LAEP students can work in nonprofits, for-profit companies, schools, and with LAEP positions at Fresno City College.
