Math, Science, and Engineering Division
The Math, Science, and Engineering (MSE) Division offers courses that meet requirements in its own programs and programs offered by other divisions. Many courses are for students in transfer programs (ADT). These include courses, which fulfill lower-division requirements for majors as well as courses taken for general education. The offering prepares students for continued study at 4-year colleges and universities.
Lower-division curricula are available for majors in biology, chemistry, engineering, geology, mathematics, nursing, medicine, physics, pharmacy, and physical therapy.
Special courses in biology, chemistry, and mathematics are offered for those needing to develop skills before taking more advanced courses.

Features
The Elroy Robinson Science Museum has a wide variety of wall mounted native North American and African animals, insects, skeletons, and birds. Many of the local schools from kindergarten to high school conduct field trips to the museum while on campus.
We have a botanical garden, pond, and greenhouse with native plants displayed throughout the area. The 10,000-Gallon fishpond and waterfall makes for a relaxing and picturesque scene. Our greenhouse is filled with many tropical plants from around the world.
The Biology, Chemistry and Earth and Physical Sciences departments gives specialized one-on-one attention to students in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Geography, Geology, Math, and Physics courses through free weekly GRASP (GRoup ASsistance Program) sessions that are staffed by faculty members and qualified tutors. These tutorial sessions are housed in the MSE division and serve as an open resource for students in all courses.
