West Fresno Center Community Advisory Group
Purpose
- The purpose of the West Fresno Center - Community Advisory Group (WFC-CAG) is to provide a platform for the West Fresno Community to be proactively engaged with the West Fresno Center.
- The WFC-CAG will inform and assist the WFC administration in identifying the community’s unmet educational needs and promoting the programming and services offered at the West Fresno Center to the community.
- Having an active and engaged advisory group will help Fresno City College to continually improve access to equity-centered, quality, innovative educational programs, and support services for the West Fresno Center students.
Responsibilities of the West Fresno Center - Community Advisory Group
- Review, discuss, and provide recommendations on the prospective plans and goals
- Facilitate the public's access to the WFC by serving as a community liaison to the WFC on issues of concern
- Inform constituents about Community Advisory Group activities
- Inform the WFC administration of any potential community issues
- Assist in problem-solving when community concerns arise
Time Commitment
- Minimum of one meeting per semester
- Two hours/meeting
