How to Join our Virtual Event
Step 1: Review the Enrollment Guides for New and Returning Students
New to Fresno City or ready to return to FCC after an absence? The Apply Now page has enrollment guides with step-by-step instructions for all types of students including first-time students, students transferring from other colleges, or students wanting to use their military benefits. We recommend that you start with the enrollment guide for your student group before the event to familiarize yourself with the enrollment process. Many of the steps can be completed online on your own time.
In order to expedite your registration process, new and returning (not enrolled in the last two semesters at FCC) students must complete the online admission application at least two days prior to the event. It is also recommended that first time students complete the online orientation to remove their hold before registration.
Step 2: Call the Extreme Registration Event Phone Line or Join the Virtual Kiosk
Once you have completed the steps above and are ready to participate in Extreme Registration, call 559.442.8226 during the event hours to begin. There may be a wait time depending on call volume, but all calls between 1:00pm-5:00pm on event days will be answered. Make sure you have your student ID number ready!
If you already know you need to speak with a counselor to plan your classes, review a pre-requisite, or discuss an academic hold, you can sign up directly to be placed on our Virtual Kiosk. (This Virtual Kiosk will be open during the Extreme Reg event.) This will put you on a call back list and a counselor will call you as soon as they become available. If you are a current student or are a new/returning student with an active application, please use your student portal login and select "Current Student". If you applied recently or are returning and do not have your student portal login, please select, "Not a student". General questions should be directed to 559.442.8226.
Services Available
Counselors will be available on a drop in basis (no appointment necessary) to advise students. This is a call back service on a first come, first serve basis where students will receive a call from the next available counselor. Assistance provided by counselors:
- Academic advising for fall classes
- Pre-requisite clearance
- Academic progress/probation information
Live Chat is available for quick questions. Student Educational Plan services is not available through Live Chat. For full counseling services, call 559.442.8226 or sign up directly to be placed on our Virtual Kiosk, during the event hours.
