Paid Summer Internships
Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) National Internship Program
HACU offers one of the best internship program in the country. Participation in an internship is an invaluable opportunity to gain hands-on work experience. HACU internships require no application or participation fees. Internships are paid, housing and travel can be arranged at no cost to interns, provisions can be made for interns to receive academic credit and free professional development activities are regularly offered during the program. Open to all students who will be at a sophomore standing by the summer of 2025, have a GPA 3.0 or higher and is pursuing a degreed major.

This event is designed to provide students, faculty and staff from Hispanic Serving Institutions in Central-Northern California with opportunity to learn about: Internships (Pathways program on usajobs.gov), scholarships and conference sponsorship, career opportunities, employment prospects, and public service from USDA, and other Federal and private agencies.
This is a one of a kind event that engages and motivates participants to pursue an Ag related career in public and provide industry. All majors are welcome!

Luis Cespedes will share his expertise on the judicial appointment process and discuss how lawyers can pursue a career as a Judge in California. This is a unique opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge from the person responsible for selecting judges for the state courts. Excellent learning experience.
