William (Bill) Turini began his career in the California community college system as a part-time political science instructor in several central California districts in 1997.  He became a full-time instructor in Fall 2001, teaching at the Reedley campus of Reedley College before transferring to the college’s center in Madera in 2014.  In addition to his teaching duties, Bill served as an officer for his college’s Academic Senate for over 10 years (four of those as president), held elected positions with the State Center Federation of Teachers on four different occasions, and acted as department chair for four terms, and contributed to crafting several district policies and regulations as well as college procedures and practices.  In terms of accreditation experience, he has twice served as his college’s Accreditation Faculty Coordinator, co-chaired his college’s Standard IV response team three times, and served on several accreditation visiting teams (performing duties as the Leadership and Governance team lead on the last two). 

Bill joined the Humanities Division at Fresno City College as the interim Dean of Instruction in July 2024.
