Jackie Williams attended Fresno City and Reedley Colleges before she transferred to Fresno State where she obtained her Bachelor in English and Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, Nonfiction. Her writing and scholarship focused on fairytales, myths, and human communication. Jackie began teaching college writing in 2010 at Fresno State and has been at Fresno City College since 2017. She's worn many hats over the years, all related to trying to make large-scale institutional changes that will serve as many students as possible.

Outside of work, she loves learning new things (most recently: cookie decorating and woodworking), spending time with her family and four dogs, and hosting events. Whether you are enrolled in her English classes or not, she is always happy to share a book recommendation!
