Tim is a lifelong Fresno resident and an alumnus of Fresno City College, Clovis Community College, and CSU, Fresno. He earned his master's degree in Physics from CSU, Fresno but previously worked for 7 years at a local grocery store called "The Market" while also earning his bachelor's degree in History from Fresno State; Tim's love of science and math compelled him to continue his education in physics and he begin his teaching career, eventually settling here at Fresno City College. Tim currently focuses his attention fully on his Natural Science and Physical Science students, lecture demonstrations, and outreach. Past research interests include advanced gauge theory in electromagnetism and continuing theoretical work on magnetic monopoles first inspired by P.A.M. Dirac. Other research interests include biophysics/physiology, materials, and finance (Black-Scholes models, etc.)
