CityFest 2018 Promises to be a Dance Fest Too
Are you ready to party like it’s….wait for it…the 1980s? Put on your dancing shoes and come to the 4th Annual Fresno City College CityFest. It’s coming up this year on Friday, September 21 from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. It will be a night of food, beer, wine, and dancing in the grand and majestic Old Administration Building. The event will feature live music from 80s tribute band, Max Headroom, and music from DJ Melie Mel and Crew. Dance to best music of the decade.
Tickets are $35 and include one drink ticket, food, and a souvenir wine or beer glass. Several local wineries and breweries will also be on hand. There will also be a silent auction. Tickets are available online at Eventbrite (processing fee applies) or at the Fresno City College Business Office.
CityFest is one of Fresno City College’s largest campus scholarship fundraising events. This year, the goal of the event is to fully endow the Humanities Dean’s Medallion Award. At Commencement, each instructional division selects an exemplary student as the Dean’s Medallion Award recipient. These students have demonstrated academic excellence and service to the community. Each Deans’ Medalist receives a $500 scholarship.
This event is growing in popularity each year and you’re guaranteed to have a great time and celebrate the beautiful setting of the Old Administration Building at the oldest community college in the state!
