#FCCHomecoming, Now Trending
The Rams are coming home to Ratcliffe Stadium on Saturday, October 28, to play the Sacramento City College Panthers and all are welcome to come and enjoy the many activities planned to celebrate the day. With a #FCCHomecoming hashtag, the Rams are asking all to help get the game trending. The Rams are going into the game following a 33-20 win over San Joaquin Delta College. The Rams are now 4-2 overall and 1-0 in conference play.
Game day festivities begin at 11 a.m. with a BBQ Tailgate Meal at Ratcliffe Stadium. Hot dog and hamburger combos will be provided for $6 until the game starts at 1 p.m. At 11:30 a.m., get a hip-hop dance lesson taught by one of FCC's professional dance instructors. If you don't dance, you can sit back and enjoy the music until 12:30 p.m.
"It's a classic traditional homecoming," said Maile Martin, a Senior Program Specialist with FCC Student Activities Office. "It brings out the best in the college and we all come together to celebrate the rich legacy of Fresno City College Activities."
Winners for the FCC student club pumpkin decorating contest will be chosen at noon. First place will be awarded $100 with second and third place receiving $75 and $50 respectively.
At halftime, cheer on all the FCC athletic teams as they parade around the stadium track. The cheering crowd will get an update on all their records to date.
"Come out and support all the clubs, teams and alumni," said Martin.
Football alumni are welcome and Student Activities will provide them the pre-game sideline passes and a free meal. Interested parties can RSVP with Student Activities at 559.443.8688
