FCC Youth Summer Camps for Cross Country and Girls Soccer
Fresno City College Athletics will host two summer camps where young athletes will learn from FCC champions, athletes and coaches, including a former Olympian.
Cross Country Camp
The 2022 Cross Country Summer Camp is a fun week of training for students in grades 4 – 8. The camp runs June 20 - 24, from 8:00 - 10:30 a.m. in Ratcliffe Stadium. The cost is $30 per student and each participant will receive a FCC cross county camp t-shirt and certificate of completion.
FCC Head Coach Calixte Aholu, a former Olympian, will teach the fundamentals of cross country racing at this inaugural summer camp. Coach Aholu is a two-time Olympian. He participated in the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain and in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, GA. Register for this fun week of training on Eventbrite.
Brian F Coulter Memorial Girls Soccer Summer Camp
The Brian T. Coulter Memorial Girls Soccer Camp is offered for girls ages 7-13 from July 12-14 and ages 14-18 from July 19-21. The three-day camps will be held from 6:00 – 8:00p.m. on the FCC Soccer Field (Blackstone & Cambridge, North of Ratcliffe Stadium). The camps’ cost is either $50 per day or $130 for three days.
All participants will receive a camp T-shirt and those who participate for 2 or 3 days will receive a soccer ball.
Student athletes will gain and learn technical and tactical training from the highest caliber championship staff led by head coach Oliver Germond, and current FCC players. The Ram Girls Soccer Camps are the perfect combination of soccer instruction, competition, and fun. All players be given individual and small group instruction.
The camp is named in memory to Brian F. Coulter, FCC women’s soccer assistant coach for 10 years. He coached for various local clubs and high school teams for over 30 years. He passed away the year FCC won the state championship in 2017 from ALS.
