Halloween Fun at Fresno City College
Fresno City College is getting into the Halloween Spirit with two events on Friday, October 28.
Halloween Science Show
Friday, October 28
1:00 p.m.
Science Building, Rm. 70 (See map)
Brought to you by the Science and Engineering Club and the Society of Women Engineers, Friday’s Halloween Science Show will be full of booms and bangs. It features esteemed chemistry instructor Christian Vellandi as the frightful Dr. Frankenstein and physics instructor David Balogh as his loyal and creepy assistant Igor.
Some of the “experiments” they will be conducting will include hydrogen balloons, high voltage Jacob’s Ladder, Thompson’s Flying Ring, lycopodium powder & burning salts, H2O2 bubbles & balloons, liquid nitrogen, and much more!
This Halloween Show is a great display of chemistry, biology, physics, and math. There will be explosions, bright colors, and things to make your hair stand on end (Van de Graff generator).
