2023 Dean's Medallion Award
Fresno City College is pleased to announce this year’s recipients of the Dean’s Medallion of Excellence Award for each division. These students will receive their medallions at a ceremony scheduled for Thursday, May 11, 2023 5:30 p.m. in the Old Administration Building, Room 251.
This award is presented to an exemplary student in each division based on the student’s academic achievements, community service and general excellence. Each recipient will also receive a $500 scholarship.
One of the students will also receive the Tony Cantú President’s Medallion and an additional $500 scholarship. This honor is named for former FCC President Tony Cantú, who passed away in 2015, FCC President Dr. Robert Pimentel makes the selection from the group of recipients.

Commencement will be held on Friday, May 19 at 6:30 pm in Ratcliffe Stadium. The Class of 2023 will break another record of Fresno City College graduates. This ceremony celebrates the students who have earned an associate degree.
