Dance Expo 2024

The annual FCC Dance Expo is upon us! On Saturday, July 27, celebrate a day of dance with Fresno City College faculty and community master dance teachers. Classes are offered throughout the day to dancers of all ages and abilities. We will showcase diverse styles, genres, and cultures.

For the 8th year, the Fresno City College Dance Department is hosting the FCC Dance Expo! The Dance Expo is a community-wide dance event that brings the valley’s artists together by offering dance education, sparking celebration of artistic expression, showing support of local dancers, and providing opportunities for networking among students and professional community members!

This day-long event acts as a fundraiser for the Dance Department to help raise funds for scholarships, costumes, and other opportunities. All teachers, faculty, and community members are volunteering to bring together this wonderful dance offering for our community. 

“Fresno City College has always prided itself on the breadth of cultural representation on campus, and to celebrate this, the dance department offers a wide variety of dance classes for every interest,” said FCC dance instructor Cristal Tiscareno.  “We have found a joyous way of uplifting the rich cultures that make up the heart and soul of Fresno.”

The Dance Expo draws middle school, high school, and young adults to the campus to learn how excellent training and insightful personal planning can lead to a rewarding degree in dance and a professional career.
