Designed for incoming Fresno City College students, our First Year Experience Program provides comprehensive support to help you transition smoothly into college life. You'll benefit from cohorted classes with peers, dedicated staff, instructors, and peer leaders who are here to guide you every step of the way. Steps to becoming an FYE Student

Submit an application

Applications are currently closed for the 2024/2025 school year.

Accept your FYE offer

Upon availability, you'll receive an email acknowledging receipt of your application. If accepted, you'll be invited to complete a student survey to confirm your enrollment.

Enroll in FYE cohorted classes

Once your enrollment is confirmed, you will receive notification of the specific FYE cohorted course(s) you need to register for. If you require assistance with FYE course registration, please schedule an appointment with an FYE counselor or reach out to the FYE Office at titlev@fresnocitycollege.edu.

Students must stay enrolled in all assigned FYE cohort classes.
