Note: If you are a non-POST reimbursable agency/officer such as: CHP, a state agency, parole, probation, or correctional officer, you will pay a tuition cost. If you are a state employee - Please contact FCC Police Academy at 559.442.5900 prior to the course to arrange payment before attending the course, or for any questions you might have. $1291.00 is the course cost for non-POST reimbursable agencies.

Instructors
All instructors are experienced Narcotics Investigators for city, county, state and federal law enforcement. They have extensive experience in undercover operations.

Course Description
The Undercover Rescue Operations Course is a 24-hour course designed to enhance the safety of rescue operations during undercover law enforcement operations. Each investigator, after completing this course will, when presented with simulated emergency, be able to train, plan, and apply rescue/intervention tactics during live operations. This course is designed to instruct investigators on how to properly train, plan, and coordinate rescue activities during undercover law
enforcement operations commonly used by narcotics, gang, and special investigation law enforcement teams. This is a physically demanding and hands on course which will place emphasis on practical scenario based training using force on force (Simunition®) simulated rescue operations. Strict safety guidelines will be enforced throughout the course and students should bring all issued safety equipment including ballistic vest, helmet, eye wear. Clothing suitable for prolonged physical activity should be worn. No live weapons are needed and students will be provided Simunition® type weapons for scenario training.
Prerequisites
Attendees must be active duty law enforcement officers or active duty military members with valid identification. A California Peace Officer Standards and Training Basic Course certificate issued from an accredited regional police academy or equivalent as determined by the division Dean or their appointee. These skills and knowledge base are related to adopted POST and/or industry standards. NOTE: Approval of equivalent training is not a guarantee state regulatory or
licensing agencies will also grant equivalence. The completion of the ICI Major Narcotics school is recommended but not mandatory prior to enrolling in this class.
Reimbursement
Reimbursement Plan IV: There is no tuition for POST reimbursable agencies. Student travel and per diem reimbursement will be via Training Reimbursement Request (TRR) for POST reimbursable agencies only.
