Cost
The ICI Core is offered at no cost to students, as long as their agency is eligible for POST reimbursement.
Note: If you are a non-POST reimbursable agency/officer such as: CHP, a state agency, parole, probation, or correctional officer, you will pay a tuition cost. Please contact FCC Police Academy at 559.442.5900 for any questions you might have.
***While student travel and per diem reimbursement are normally reimbursable via Training Reimbursement Request (TRR) for this course, POST has temporarily suspended tuition and travel reimbursement for all POST Plan IV courses.
Description
The ICI program will be informative to all investigators regardless of experience level. All ICI courses use the adult experience-based techniques of learning. Participants rely on their experience and the experience of others for learning. Learners are challenged through the use of realistic and practical applications. Even the most experienced investigators can learn from their association with others in the class.
