The Department of Art at FCC empowers students to reshape their worlds through critical inquiry and transformative creativity. Each of the department’s classes provides an environment that fosters creativity, autonomy and experimentation. Students are exposed to a broad range of approaches to making and interpreting art, as well as diverse perspectives on the role of art and artists.

Art Space Gallery
The Art Space Gallery hosts shows by internationally and nationally known artists, local and emerging artists, FCC faculty, and students. Each spring semester students have the opportunity to apply to exhibit their work in the annual student exhibition. The gallery also hosts artist lectures and acts as an educational space for the Studio Art and Art History program.
Fresno Arts Council
As the local arts agency for the City and County of Fresno, the FAC provides financial support, services and arts programming to a variety of cultural arts organizations, individual artists, regional art initiatives, and diverse communities.
Arte Americas
One of the largest non-profit Latinx cultural centers in California. Celebrating Latinx history, arts, and culture since 1987.
Fresno Art Museum
The Fresno Art Museum is Fresno’s nationally-recognized fine art museum, best known for exhibiting modern and contemporary art from California, art by women artists, and works of art on paper, along with exhibitions that reflect the visual arts traditions of the ethnic groups that contribute to the rich diversity of the San Joaquin Valley.
