Asian American Faculty and Staff Association
The Asian American Faculty and Staff Association (AAFASA) is dedicated to celebrating and supporting the rich cultures of the Asian continent. In addition to being a voice for the needs and concerns of Asian American students at Fresno City College, we work hard to share our cultures with the community, assist various organizations campus-wide, and recognize their educational success. Our work includes supporting and promoting projects such as the Yokuts Plaza, Asians in the City, AsianFest, and Asian American Month celebrations; providing scholarships for outstanding students; and organizing the now annual Asian Pacific Islander Celebration of Success (APICS).
Meetings & Membership
Membership is open to all Fresno City College/State Center Community College District part-time and full-time Certificated, Classified Professionals, and retirees. Annual membership dues can be paid by completing the employee voluntary payroll deduction form.
Meetings are scheduled the second Tuesday of the month. Contact one of the Executive Board members for questions.
