African American Faculty & Staff Association
The African American Faculty and Staff Association (AAFSA) is dedicated to enriching the Fresno City College (FCC) campus, African American students, faculty, staff and the surrounding community through leadership, model citizenship, cultural pride, cultural awareness activities and active participation in campus governance and programs/activities.
Allied Staff & Faculty Association
The mission of the Allied Staff & Faculty Association (AlliedSFA) is to create a campus-wide support network for LGBTQ staff, faculty, students, and their allies in an attempt to promote academic success and higher retention rates of LGBTQ students, as well as provide professional development for staff and faculty. To address issues of school climate/culture for the LGBTQ community on campus, and advise the Office of the President on such matters.
Asian American Faculty & Staff Association
The Asian American Faculty and Staff Association (AAFAS) is dedicated to celebrating and supporting the rich cultures of the Asian continent. In addition to being a voice for the needs and concerns of Asian American students at Fresno City College, we work hard to share our cultures with the community, assist various organizations campus-wide, and recognize their educational success. Our work includes supporting and promoting projects such as the Yokuts Plaza, Asians in the City, and AsianFest; providing scholarships for outstanding students; and organizing the now annual Asian Pacific Islander Celebration of Success.
Latino Faculty & Staff Association
The Latino Faculty & Staff Association (LFSA) is an educational organization whose purpose is to be an advocate for the Latino issues in higher education which also includes the educational welfare and advancement of the Latino community. Our Goal is to promote the social and cultural dimensions of Latino history, heritage and culture as it relates to education.
