Enrollment Requirements
Fresno City College is open to all qualified students over the age of 18. If you are still in High School as a junior or senior, you may apply if you have permission from your parents, High School counselor, and High School principal.
18 or Older
Any person who is at least 18 years of age, or with a high school diploma or equivalent (such as California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) or the General Education Development test (GED) with a score of at least 45 overall and with no subtest lower than 35) may be admitted. An official transcript or test result must be submitted to the Admissions and Records Office, 1101 East University Avenue, Fresno, CA 93741.
Residency Requirements: Have California residency or military service documented for In-State Tuition.
Under 18
If you are under 18 and have not graduated high school, there are two options:
- High School Enrichment is designed to provide high school students in the 11th and 12th grades an opportunity for advanced scholastic college level coursework taken on Fresno City College campus.
- High School Dual Enrollment is organized through the high school and allows the student to earn college credit for high school classes taken on the high school campus.
