Sociology
The Sociology Program at FCC provides students with tools to understand the society in which they live. The immediate goal of our Sociology Program is to prepare students who plan to transfer to a four-year college and major in sociology or a similar discipline. Our program can be useful in occupations such as teaching, social work, drug and alcohol counseling, police work, probation aides, juvenile hall counseling, medical work, international business, and any other occupation that places one in contact with people of diverse backgrounds.
